Hello All,
It's been a while that I posted anything here. And I have many of you asking me two questions every time you talk to me or write to me. "What's Rishi upto these days? Why is there no update on Rishi's website". So here we are ...
To start with , a quick update on Rishi
He is going to be 4 in a month. Yes..Yes.. I know time is just flying. He is becoming a much responsible kid as he is going to be a "big brother" in a short while. He feels a sense of pride when I tell him, his sister would be calling him "RISHI ANNA"
He had a great time with his Om thatha( My father) for six months. He used to walk with him to the library, he would play games with him and he would secretly trick his thatha to give him cakes, cookies and icecream and his most important trick to convince his thatha to give him more tablet time than he is allowed to.. :) So he just loves his thatha, and in his absence misses him terribly. Facetime is the savior! He now eagerly awaits the arrival of his Lakshmi Patti :)
He has been progressing well at his preschool. He enjoyed this year's Halloween. He wore a spiderman costume "Amazing spiderman". (If I say just spiderman, he gets offended lol :)) That reminds me I need to do a post on Halloween and his preschool activities.. Noted!
Currently, he is exploring some facts on America.. You all know it's election fever in America so wanted to do something around it.. He has been learning about the various US States, so I combined all of things that he knew about the US in one nutshell and put it here.. Hope you like it.. and as always please let me know what you think!!!

Minto Express 2012
Rishi's first ever act on a stage so you can imagine how tensed me and R would have been. I think we went a little overboard too worrying how he would perform. He is a mood dependent kid. If he is in mood , he would do anything you ask for but if he doesn't want to do it he will have his way.
I only was praying that he doesn't go on stage and start crying . He took all of us by surprise. He went on stage, the moment he located us , he was in all smiles.. so proud of what he was doing . Thank God .. he does not have stage fear.
He is a little timid and shy kid (unlike his mom , like his dad offcourse!) but hat's off to him, we didn't see any of these traits on stage the other day !
You should see the pride on his Thatha's face. He hasn't stopped harping about it even today. Maybe that's why grandparents are so special ..:)
Hey little fella... Mom and Dad are proud of you !! Way to go Rishi .
Catch a glimpse of what he did the other day ...

Rishi is excited about his new bike..
Can't believe that Rishi is driving a bike.. He is too excited about it.
Ofcourse it has to have lightning McQueen on it.. he he.. Now evenings are just spent on riding the bike and Sr. R gets a good walk. So Mommy is happy!!!
Rishi is filled with pride to drive the bike. He is too excited to wear his helmet and shades. And he is ready in no time when it's a bike outing. So Mommy now gets most job done by just asking one simple question.. "Rishi don't you want to bike today?"
Let's hope this excitement lasts at least till this Spring..
Catch the glimpse of Rishi on his new bike..! :)
